7 Breathtakingly beautiful destinations you've probably never heard of

Travel is a passion for some, a relaxation for others. Mother Earth has amazing places to explore. Nature has given mankind many exotic places to visit. Most travellers visit places recommended by guides, friends and family or even by locals.

However, there are some adventurous but very beautiful places on the planet that few people have heard of or perhaps never heard of.

1. The ice caves of the Mendenhall Glacier in southeast Alaska.

Mendenhall Glacier has bright blue domes covered in ice, and cold water flows over the rocks in the caves. The caves are located in southeast Alaska, just 12 miles from downtown Juneau. Tours are arranged depending on the conditions of the glaciers and cost $228 per person per day for the tour.

This is a nearly 8-hour adventure that includes hiking through rocky terrain and crevasses. The ice caves and moulins are a real beauty. The ice caves on the west side cannot be visited due to continued ice melt. The beauty of nature has been greatly affected by global warming as the glaciers are melting, making it impossible for admirers to visit them.

2. Uyuni Salt Flats, Bolivia

The salt flats, which can be seen as mirrors, are the largest in the world. The surface of the plains looks like the moon. After a few centimetres of rain, the place looks radiant. The view is undoubtedly breathtaking, as the rain has turned the place into a giant mirror. This sight is defined as indescribable because it really looks like a mirror when the whole place is filled with rain, and then it is an unforgettable sight when the sky and other things around it are reflected in it.

Strangely enough, it rarely rains, so few people get the chance to see Bolivia's mirrors. The mirror is not only the name given to the salt flats for no reason, but it also gives a glimpse of the mirror.

3. The pink Reteba Lake in Senegal

Lake Reteba is a lake where bacteria turn the water pink or make it look pink. The lake is about an hour's drive from Dakar, the capital of Senegal. The lake is located on a stretch of coastline. The pink appearance of the water is due to the eradication process of the bacteria, which absorb the sunlight as it falls on the water and reflect the pink appearance.

The best time to visit is during the dry season when there is no wind. Some call it an unexpected food colour because of its reddish-pink colour. The pink glow of the water makes you sleepy for a while and you can admire the beauty of the place for a while.

4. The blue walls of Chefchaouen, Morocco

Chefchaouen's existence began in 1471 with its blue appearance, which led to it being called the Blue Wall. Those who have visited it agree that it looks like a Picasso painting. The medina acquired its colour in the 1930s when Jewish refugees arrived in the city. The Jews believed that blue represented the sky and its infinity.

The Jewish refugees painted the walls of their houses blue because of their faith, and this trend has continued ever since. There is another scientific reason: the colour blue is mosquito-repellent. The best time to visit is in spring, as the lush landscape is a feast for the soul. Other relevant places to visit in the country with this is even a complete entertainment package.

5. Fenjan Ecolodge in Jordan

A beautiful natural area in the heart of the mountains of the Dana Biosphere Reserve. Visitors describe it as an idyllic lodge with light. Lovely 360 degree views of the desert with mountain peaks. The lodge has 26 rooms at your disposal. There are wonderful hiking and biking trails. This is a description of the day, while in the evening you can make a campfire and play a few rounds of board games.

Here you can enjoy it all year round as it rarely rains and there is plenty of sunshine. Feenan is a fun place to visit and there are plenty of things to do to keep you entertained. Jordan is a small but beautiful country and Feynan is an eco-lodge, as the name suggests. It is a place where you can go to enjoy the blessings of nature.

6. Jamaica's shining lagoon

The eerie brightness of the water explains the origin of the name of this wonderful water source in Jamaica. The living microscopic organisms create a glow around everything in the water. Loch Lum

7. Colorful Danxia Scenery in Zhangxia

China's Gansu Province has been given a special look by nature. The mountains are mostly in the Grand Canyon, a 400 square kilometer expanse of dramatic peaks and canyons. The rocks are colorful and their unusual colors are the result of over 24 million years of mineral deposits in the red sandstone.

The view at sunset is breathtaking with the vivid colors of the rocks that form. The park was created for tourists to enjoy the spectacular view of the cliffs, and is definitely a place worth visiting at least once in your lifetime. The scenery of the cliffs is beautiful, and it is a peaceful place where you can enjoy the sunset in nature.
